Out of experience I can tell you it gets tedious quite quickly.
If you want a fun mechanic sim, see if you can *cough* get *cough* a version of Gearhead Garage and get it to work. Many more funs to be had with that.
It's old but get some extra cars and you'll get way more fun times out of it.
If only EssExTee could be so grossly incandescent
